Our beautiful Morongo Hideaway is a multi-acre villa located in the hills above Morongo Valley in the Mojave Desert. Perfectly located just 22 miles from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and 20 miles to beautiful Palm Springs, California, our home is central to all that there is to do in the desert area. Hiking, dining, shopping, nature, desert living are all within close proximity to the house. Book a day at one of the nearby natural hot springs in Desert Hot Springs, just 10 minutes from the Morongo Hideaway. Or lounge by our pool and enjoy the view overlooking the valley, set amongst our lush property.
Wander among the mesquite, piñon, palo verde, olive, sumac, pepper, and yucca trees on our lush multi-acred property. Privately fenced in, you can enjoy the serenity of our peaceful desert. Morongo Valley is a world-class bird-watching destination. The Big Morongo Canyon nature preserve is just across the highway, and is habitat to more than 263 species of birds and 74 species of butterfly. The beauty of the desert will surround you here at the Morongo Hideaway.
The Morongo Hideaway Desert Villa & Casita
- Entire property sleeps 8 with the main house and attached casita. You can rent BOTH the house & casita OR rent the house Or rent the casita. We never rent to more than one party at a time on our property. Whichever rental you choose, you will have the whole 2 acre property to yourselves.

Mountain Cabin at the Pinecrest Hideaway
Our beautiful Pinecrest Hideaway, located in near Pinecrest Lake in Cold Springs, California, if the perfect year-round vacation home, just 10 minutes to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and 5 minutes to Pinecrest Lake Marina and beach. Hiking, skiing, swimming, boating, horseback riding are all within 10 minutes from our cozy, comfortable cabin. With over 1,000 feet of deck overlooking the forest, our cabin is the perfect spot for a bbq or relaxing cup of morning coffee. After skiing, come back to the cabin and warm yourself by our woodburning stove while the kids play air hockey upstairs.
